"There's another sub-category of podcast app that hasn't been mentioned, but which I find very useful. Much like bookmarklet apps including Instapaper and Pocket or even Mendeley, which allow one to save material to read later, I often find audio files, recorded interviews, or other things that I'd like to listen to, but don't have the time to do so right now. For this, I've been using Huffduffer (http://http://huffduffer.com/) which allows me to use a bookmarklet to quickly tag the piece for later listening. Even better, it creates an iTunes specific channel for me that I can subscribe to in iTunes (or other feed aggregators) so that the next time I sync, I have that song, interview, other audio file with me for my commute or where ever I find free time to get around to listening to it." - Chris Aldrich
