As far as backlinks go, Disqus makes it easy to see where users are posting and engaging. As an example, I just clicked on your username above and found that you've posted 3 additional places and two are directly related to Disqus. So far, I'm pleased with my decision to roll with Disqus, although, Livefyre was setting up to be a great alternative. Thanks for responding!" - Damond Nollan

Similar to your post, random articles didn't have the comment box attached. Looking online for a solution, I found that this issue happens to others as well. Like you, I've reverted back to Disqus.
