Andrew, it's possible that they are going to use another venue in LA. It could save them money and get more publicity if they do it right. Activision held their own event outside E3 in 2008, and it went well for them. Other developers use an hotel room and do everything by invite. ghost town compared to the normal crowd - Morgan

Morgan, it was much quieter than usual, but it wasn't as slow as the picture portrays. It's made up of five separate shots and I waited to take each one until it was as clear as possible. In doing so, I was trying to avoid ghosting which usual occurs when there is movement in a stitched group of images. However, there are still a few ghostly looking people in the shot. - Michael Fidler
