One way to look at what we do is to think of us as GitHub, but with running code within the same execution environment. In traditional development and deployment models there is a lack of trust between the application and library developers. If you want to use somebody's library, you make a copy of it and bundle it up with your application when deploying. The upside is that you can be sure the underlying library does not change.
