Just as the fanaticism of a few misguided individuals shouldn't distort the overall loving and peaceful teachings of Islam, the mass apathy of Christians towards some teachings of the Bible in regards to justice and rights doesn't mean those teachings don't exist in those texts. You have to pick the whole orchard, not just one cherry tree.
