Police responding to a Florida burglary found a 35-year-old man drinking a beer and dancing inside a million-dollar beachfront home that he claimed to co-own with the pop star.
Jason Lowell James, of Manatee, Fla., told responding officers Sunday he and Carey shared the property, but cops weren't buying it. James was arrested and charged with burglary of an unoccupied building by Holmes Beach police, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune reported.
Neighbors called police after reporting a strange car in the driveway and loud music playing inside the home, according to the Bradenton Herald."
