Last year, we had clear skies and could see them from my backyard. Now, it's kind of clear right above my house, but it's pretty hazy on the horizon.

my city recently started turning off 2/3 of the street lights at night to save a measly $135K/yr. i can see stars at night for the first time since 1995.
