It is beginning to look more and more like Jeb Bush might be the best overall choice for Republican Presidential candidate. What are the odds on him entering the race ?
The only really negative baggage he seems to have is his name (but that might even be a positive).

Which part of his name? Surname's bad enough, but that forename's pretty ridiculous too. Who could follow President Jeb? Cleetus?

I was thinking Bush might be a problem. Barak didn't seem to be a problem so I am guessing you could have any first name.

right now, zero to zilch, every year in the US is an election year the top job being the most long & drawn out over a year's span, JB's not even declared or formed an exploratory committee ie running for Pres/Primaries takes a lot of money/fundraising, he's way behind. Though if he decided yes tomorrow he has huge personal wealth resources at his disposal. But ask next year, a lot can happen before 2012. Or ask Sean McBride, he'll have some theories :)

Best choice for who? The Democrats? :)

No I think compared to the other potential candidates he is the most trouble for the Democrats. The others range from mildly nutty or soiled to complete nut cases.
