Tech advice please: I'm getting an iPod Touch for Christmas and I don't have a Wireless router. I'm looking for a good, but inexpensive one. I like listening to streaming radio and watching streaming TV, so it has to be able to be able to handle that. I have Verizon DSL. I'm so confused right now. Any advice is most appreciated.

Don't get a Linksys. Also, I have a Belkin and it seems to be part of my connectivity issues. Have used Netgear stuff previously and had no issues. Should have got another one. Sorry, anecdotal is all I've got for ya :)

I recommend anything you can install DD-WRT onto. I have a Netgear model that I loaded with the DD-WRT firmware and it was worked out well. It turns your cheap router into an expensive one.

Take a look at this one, which (EDIT) supports DD-WRT and is inexpensive: http://www.newegg.com/Product...

I've been using an Airport Extreme Basestation for years. It's not cheap though. I like it because I don't have to think about it. It helps that it's supported years later through firmware updates that's dead simple to apply.

Thanks Eric and everyone else. I'm planning on going to Boston over the Christmas vacation and I'll look there. I'm going to be at my Mom's so I'll be able to use her Wifi while I'm there.
