"I'm not saying switch a feeling off or on. The love part is the action you take. You feel a certain way about someone and you treat them nice. What about days where the feeling isn't there? How do you treat them then? Are you more selfish on those days, or still selfless? What if there was someone you "felt" love for and wanted badly to spend the rest of your life with, but realized you weren't the person for them (let's say they have a dream job opportunity across the country and you have a reason you can't leave, or any other scenario) - do you convince them to stay with you because you love them, or do you look out for their best interest because you live them and encourage them to follow their dream if that is what they want? When you and your partner have a huge argument and you're pissed at them and you haven't had dinner yet, do you cook and make them a plate of food and bring it to them too despite your anger - now that the "feeling" is gone, even if temporarily? Or do you..."
