Woke up feeling fine but within a half hour the left side of my neck to my upper shoulder seized up. I guess it's a heating pad and pain kind of day. *sighs*

Have you tried a purring kitty shoulder/neck warmer? Has helped me feel better before.

Aw, that stinks, Rachel.

How're you doing now, Rachel?

Sorry I wasn't online much yesterday, computer use isn't totally comfortable right now. I am slightly better but still in decent pain and limited mobility. Hopefully in a couple hours I can see if I'm feeling well enough to attempt the weird al concert tonight. *huge sighs*

Oh and Nicky, in the past I have enjoyed that too but currently Indy is too heavy and would hurt too much, Nym isn't much lighter and wouldn't stay put and the little kittens would do great except that my ear would get bitten a LOT which I doubt would do much for the muscles in my neck when I jerked around to detach them. I tried laying with the kittens yesterday but they kept attacking my toes and I had a hard time defending myself. *sighs*

Hope your shoulder sorted itself out in the end. One thing I find good if my neck plays up like that (other than with help from a cat or a hot wheat bag) is Biofreeze. Its similar to deep heat but smells better, feels hot and cold at the same time and seems to work a lot better for me.
