All of Libyan Spider DNS and web dedicated servers, including their own website were shut down on March 31, 2011 without any prior contact or warning. This was due to the UN/US sanctions on Libya. But sanctions only apply to governmental entities and Libyan Spider is not affiliated with the government, so it was soon restored." - Andrew Baron
