I have a place to live in Madison! It's not what we originally agreed, and it was a huge pain in the ass dealing with the people who live there, but at least I know I'll have somewhere to sleep. That's a load off my mind. :D
WOOT! - Mary Carmen
I admit I'm pretty annoyed that I got the run-around for almost a month, and then the room promised to me was given away to someone else TWICE, leaving me stuck on the ground floor (which will probably be colder in winter, sigh). And I have to stay in the guest room for a month & a half before I even get that ground-floor room. But it's better than arriving in a new state with nowhere to stay! - Lo
Yes, they are... *grumble* Don't mind me, my first thought on waking up this morning was that I have less than three days to pack, and I haven't updated my resume, I don't know if I have health insurance, and I'm apparently not going to be paid for working during the knit-in. Maybe some cupcakes will improve my attitude... - Lo
Cupcakes consumed, OPTIMISM REATTAINED. I get to hold my love again in 5 days, 4 hours, and 40 minutes. Huzzah! - Lo
