Back of the envelope: Many sequencing preps involve between 1 and 5 micrograms of input DNA. If there are ~5 picograms of DNA per cell, that works out to somewhere between 200k and 1 million cells per library. For WGS, you often need multiple libraries, so your number is certainly in the millions.
