"The game I played most this year was the F2P ARPG **Path of Exile**. It has an excellent cosmetic MTX model and is probably the best isometric ARPG around. It's a game I dip in and out of since there are new challenge leagues every four months and new content added frequently. Act 4 should also be coming next year. **Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut** took everything that I loved about **Shadowrun Returns** and made it even better. I put 40 hours in through a couple playthroughs getting different endings and the achievements and I haven't even touched the mods yet. Finally played through the **X-COM: Enemy Within** expansion after it was on sale recently. It added some cool stuff to EU but definitely an expansion I would pick up when it is on heavy discount. I've been playing the **Shadow Warrior** reboot and its included **Viscera Cleanup Detail** standalone. It's really good. They do the sword combat extremely well and the game is apparently very long.
