И мы сидим и смотрим телек, как какой-то местный диктор в новостях рассказывает, что сегодня было 15 убийств и 63 ограбления, и типа так и должно быть. Мы знаем что всё плохо - хуже, чем плохо. Они с ума сошли, все с ума сходят. Мы никуда уже не ходим, мы сидим дома, а мир, в котором мы живём, становится всё меньше, и всё о чём мы просим - пожалуйста, оставьте нас в покое в наших комнатах, оставьте мне мой тостер, мой телек, мой фен для волос, мои литые диски, я ничего не скажу, только не трогайте меня. А я буду вас трогать, я хочу что-бы вы сошли с ума. Мне не надо что-бы вы протестовали, мне не надо что-бы вы бунтовали, я не прошу вас писать вашему депутату, и я не знаю, что там положено писать. Я ничего не знаю о депрессии, инфляциях, бюджетах, русских, преступности, всё что я знаю - вы должны сойти с ума. Вы должны сказать - Я человек, чёрт возьми, моя жизнь чего-то стоит... - yofus

I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel's worth, banks are going bust, shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter. I don't want you to riot - I don't want you to write to your congressman because I wouldn't know what to tell you to write. I don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Russians and the crime in the street. All I know is that first you've got to get mad! You've got to say, "I'm a human being, goddammit! My life has value!" So, I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs.
