I've got thousands of tracks I can listen to on any device at any time, and Spotify gives me any song in the world on any device I don't yet have. Every track I listen to gets sent to Last.fm if you want to follow there, or my playlists are on Spotify Social. The whole "play for 5 seconds" and get interrupted game is silly. Louis, you also seem to be interpreting the service as something it's not. It's not a music library, it's a social experience. It allows you to uncover new stuff, or old stuff new to you, with friends, or strangers. It's about sharing what you like with others, and conversing with them in real-time. It is beyond amusement or wasting time. People are talking about what they are working on, making intros, the value is spilling into IRL already. Recruiters and VC's are in there looking for talent - usually they show up after you, Louis..The best part, though, is talking about ideas with people who accept you and listen. For many it is like first experiences with IRC, Twitter, etc...Consider Friendfeed - hard to understand, but once you get it, you get it. You don't get Turntable, Louis, nor do many of those who have written about it so far. - Liza + = ?

The reason I have not shared a post on it is that it is pretty personal. Getting to the point where I can blog has been a long process. No excuse, I know, and I struggle with it everyday, which stinks, since I love writing. The posts exist, they are just private. - Liza + = ?
