I asked this question on Buzz but no replies, so I'll ask here. Do you have more than 1 gmail account and if yes, are you using Buzz on both?
Yes and no. I only remembered yesterday that having a 2nd account meant I could possibly use Buzz there. But honestly, I haven't been enjoying Buzz and have turned it off on even the one acct. - Spidra Webster
I have 4, and I only have Buzz on one. - Ha3rvey (Free hugs)
No. I have one gmail and I hardly use it, so I don't use Buzz much either. - Eric @ CS Techcast
I have 4 (I think) and have them all forwarded to macmail. I activated Buzz on worldofhiglet and added everyone who I usually follow that I could find but Buzz is just to unwieldily to get a handle on. I've now activated Buzz on my writer's gmail since people were already following me there but I've only added those people. - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
Yes and no, I'm not using Buzz on any of them. - ωαřмaiden ❤Bassetmom❤
So my worldofhiglet Buzz is full of posts I'm mainly not interested in and my other one had barely anything other than imported FF posts. Color me underwhelmed. - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
Yeah, I think lots of ppl have more than 1 gmail acct. I wonder if Google will allow linking of accounts? - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
Silent 3: do you use Buzz on your 'main' gmail acct? - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
Pea and Arch: will you try Buzz in the future? Which acct would you use if you did? - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
I have 2 accounts and use Buzz on one of them. To be honest, the best thing Buzz has going for it is the photo sharing. The large photos and instant slideshows are tremendous. - rowlikeagirl
Photo sharing in native Buzz posts, Row? Because Buzz doesn't import them well from other sources. - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
Ya, in native Buzz posts. - rowlikeagirl
Do you port you Buzz anywhere else, Row? Or import from other sites to Buzz? - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
Sorry I'm asking so many questions but I really don't get value from Buzz and I'm trying to see if there is a better way to use it. - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
I have one gmail account and a few google apps gmail accounts..No Buzz on Google Apps yet I don't think. - Beau Liening
One account, using with buzz (but not much happening at any length). - Micah
Yes I have more than 1 Gmail account. Sometimes more with different domains on Google Apps. And no, I don't use Buzz... not yet anyways. - AJ Batac
I have just one, but I might get another one that nobody subscribes to so I can do Buzz testing without causing too much noise. - Bruce Lewis
Nope, just the one. - Steven Perez
yes, I have 3 gmail and no, I have buzz only on 1. - Brent - Yes I am
Bruce: there is a big difference between my 2 accounts and testing Buzz that way might be very useful if you were going to follow just a few people. It would be unfortunate, though, to grow a Buzz account that was not under your main gmail because migrating to another one with lots of follows and followers would be hard. - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
Pea (or anyone else): would you ever want to merge Buzz so one account was available from 2 separate gmail accounts? - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
Micah: how many ppl are you subbed to/are subbed to you and are you posting natively to Buzz? - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
I only just now read the whole comment thread. About importing photos well from other sources, it's getting there: http://www.google.com/buzz... - Bruce Lewis
Interesting, Bruce. I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with OurDoings.com and it's not immediately obvious - is it a photography share site? - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
Yes and no - Shevonne
Have a couple gmail accounts, yes, but using Buzz only on one of them, that too very sparingly. - TrafficBug
Yes, I do and no I'm not. - Scoble, Alex Scoble
TBug: are you using you 'main' gmail account with Buzz? Are you following ppl who were already Gmail contacts or ppl from other places? - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
Yes to the first part of your question, and no to the second part. - imabonehead
woh, OurDoings is not exactly photo sharing and not exactly blogging. It's the ideal way to leverage digital photos to easily keep memories. - Bruce Lewis
Bruce, do you have a link that explains it more fully? - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
Thing is, that front page that looks like marketing hyperbole? That's actually describing it. To fully understand it you need to actually spend 20 minutes using it, because it isn't just a slight variation on what you've seen before. - Bruce Lewis
I've read it again, Bruce, and have more idea. I found the blog(s) a little hard to navigate which is why I was confused. It sounds like a simple idea and it's good that it looks like integration with Buzz will happen. - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
I have one Gmail account but I don't think I've ever logged in to email or otherwise used it at all. I only made an account so I could use iGoogle. I'm not using Buzz at all right now. - Rochelle
It's a combination several simple ideas: (1) That photos are most enjoyable in small groups (entries), contained in medium-sized groups (months), (2) That these groups can be made automatically using EXIF data, (3) That a day with tons of photos shouldn't overwhelm the story, and (4) Explanatory text should usually go with a group of photos, not a single one. But these simple ideas in combination get photos of your doings to an enjoyable state much faster than anything else can. - Bruce Lewis
Integration with Buzz is already there, it just isn't as nice as it is with FriendFeed. FriendFeed picks up georss and shows a map. FriendFeed is reliably real-time thanks to SUP. (Buzz has another real-time protocol, but it would take more work for me to make it reliable). FriendFeed has a nicer interface for adding a feed. FriendFeed accepts any valid RSS. Buzz will get there, eventually. - Bruce Lewis
I have 7 gmail accounts and I only use 1 for buzz. I only ever log into 1 of them. I have everything set up so it forwards all mail from the other 6 to my main account, and I can reply as any of the other accounts, from that one. - April Russo (FForever!)
yes, tho one mysteriously vanished. i no longer use Buzz. - Big Joe Silenced
Only 1 and I turned off Buzz. - Paulette
Bruce, OurDoings.com sounds like a good service. - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
Thanks WoH. If you have a pile of photos please try it. People who upload months' worth of photos tend to keep using it, so it must be fun not just for me. A notable exception is Robert Scoble, who used it for 8 months, then stopped. But he was mainly interested in getting mapped photos to FriendFeed in real time, not the other features. - Bruce Lewis
Yes, many Gmail accounts. No, just using the one for Buzz. The other Gmail accounts has forwarding/spam filters so I don't actually use them. - Kol Tregaskes
Nope just one - buzz is optional. - Dan owns Comicsforge.com
Yes, but I only use Buzz on my primary gmail. - Arlan K.
Re: Photo slideshows: Ah, I just noticed that Flickr photos also do the slideshow. - rowlikeagirl
Two accounts but only using Buzz on one. - Martha
Yep, and yep. - Nathan Chase
How are the multiple Buzzes working for you, Nathan? Are you following different people on each? - WoH: Professor MOTHRA
Multiple Buzzes, that sounds exhausting. - Micah
Actually using one personal, and one business. Works out fine. The business account doesn't follow anyone. - Nathan Chase
The batteries died in my buzzer. :P - April Russo (FForever!)
