I can remember a time when you had to have a government issued card to buy liquor, when wine was a street drink with some sort of name like "Old Sailor", drinking establishments had special "Ladies and Escorts" entrances and separate facilities, and grapes in Niagara meant those headed for Concord jelly. - Brian Sullivan
