Wait, so all of the standards you've mentioned are in Chrome for Android and is coming to the WebView in Android L (along with other standards like the gamepad API, WebRTC, fullscreen API, and more that iOS has yet to support), and Apple deserves credit because they've just caught up?
Google, Mozilla, Opera, Microsoft, Blackberry, and more have all shipped WebGL before Apple.
Think about it, Internet Explorer which is famous for being a horrible browser shipped much of what you're praising Apple for nearly a full year before Apple.
Not to mention Apple has often been vocal against many of the bigger more game changing web standards coming out or completely silent.
A lot of what WkWebView and Safari have to offer right now were built into WebKit by Google.
Apple could've shipped WebGL support in Safari three years ago."
