"I don't notice any difference in the grip between the 3DS, 3DS XL, and New 3DS XL. I mean, you have two hands wrapped around it to play it, unlike smartphones, which can definitely get slippery. No complaints there. For transferring, I only had Mario Kart 7 as a downloadable title, and all the rest on cartridge. Figured that'd be quick. NOPE. Took about 45 minutes for the wireless transfer to complete. Learned my lesson for when I replace this with the Majora's Mask version.
