Raspberry Pi 2 B or NUC Kit DC53427HYE?
I vote for RP2 - primarily due to price. - Aloof Schipperke
The NUC has 3GB of upgradable RAM, SATA 3 and possibly a beefier GPU. It has no GPIO, though. So what's the problem you're solving? - 9000
originally it was "tiny server", but now I think about torrents again and that means stronger CPU for crypto (1) functions, which ARM might be doesn't fit... and then daughter started to play with drawing pen often, pushing away wife from her laptop, which means... NUC? - piikummitus
Anyway, the screen is going to be the most expensive part. - 9000
I have 2 not-so-ancient 21" screens - enough to start with. - piikummitus
BTW have you considered one of these? https://www.olimex.com/Product... Pretty nice specs for a desktop-ish machine (as opposed to a wearable). - 9000
@9000 did you notice most of accessories have price for "items at least 10"? - piikummitus
@silpol: yes, but the machines themselves are sold in quantities from 1. what accessories do you need BTW? touchscreens look poor (alas), and everything else can be had from other sources. - 9000
wifi at least tho I could buy RPb one - piikummitus
hmm, linux-compatible USB wi-fi dongles are not hard to come by, AFAIK. - 9000
@9000 well, I'd rather buy tiny one, which looks like mouse dongle - piikummitus
