Ruined? I can’t count the number of times I’ve seen it since the first time watched it on its opening day. I walked into the theater that day with no expectations, because it was serendipity (long story) that I was there in the first place. It’s easy for me to criticize it now, but I’ll never forget the impression it made on me the first time watched it. From the first scene to the last, my jaw was on the floor.
