A lot of people have deluded themselves into thinking that Tom's manager, Rick Devoe, has gone rogue and told Mark/Travis that Tom was quitting when he wasn't actually quitting. In reality, Tom and Rick are likely in very close communication and Rick is only doing what Tom is telling him to do (with Rick's input, I'm sure). I highly doubt Rick is behind this break up.
