I can't remember how I heard about Twitter but it was probably someone like Scoble. I immediately saw the potential but in those days it was just so quiet.
It took a few months for things to get moving (about Feb/Mar 2007) once more people joined and we started having some actual conversations.
Straight away I saw the potential for using Twitter as a broadcast medium and first mentioned my blog on my second day but it took about a month before I actually tweeted a link.
I think it's great that Twitter has largely stuck to its roots and not been tempted to reboot the service in any way."

Great fun. Just installed this and it's great - a good way to check if you could live without your homescreen widgets and move to iOS.
The attention to detail is surprising - swipe to the screen left of home and you get search, drag one icon on to another and you can create a folder.
I'm impressed.
