本来以为Apple TV的性能要强大不少，结果查了一下参数，才发现Apple TV 3用的CPU是Apple A5，800MHz主频，内存是512M。RasPi用的也是Arm的CPU，主频700MHz，内存同样512M。看来专门的Airplay芯片的性能真是没法直接用软件模拟

买了Sonos Play:5之后，虽然被它的功能惊艳不已，但想来想去其实自己更需要的是Airplay的功能 :( 现在我开始考虑一下要不要再单独添加一个 Airport Express 音频输出到 Play:5 来作为 Airplay 设备了。不作死不会死啊

这几天摆弄Chef，对它感觉大好。Puppet为了照顾运维，刻意和Ruby划清界限，而Chef 则尽量拥抱Ruby语言的能力。结果就是，Ruby 程序员要扩展Chef简直太容易了，如说要为模板加Helper，重用代码，在Puppet里痛苦异常，而在Chef中易如反掌

但是，对于不熟悉 Ruby 的 SA/ops 来说，Chef 的门槛确实太高了。这应该也是 Puppet 比 Chef 流行（在我看来是）的一个原因吧

多用了一点 Chef 之后，和之前 Puppet 的经验比较起来，感受是 Chef 确实更适合我一些。很多 Chef cookbook 的实现，不缺边少角，比起对应的 Puppet modules 来说简直就是业界良心呀。

对于我这个Ruby码农来说，Chef用起来比Puppet自然很多，它的DSL和Ruby是天然结合起来的。完全没有用Puppet独立于Ruby的DSL和Ruby之间的天然（和心理上的）隔阂
