"I have to disagree with the fearfulness of your article Chris. First off, Ebola is a virus and your analogy with the spread of living things is a false-equivalence. Also, while the two American's who contracted may have taken all the necessary precautions the sad truth is that the families of the dead victims often did not. It's very likely that the doctor contracted the disease by contact with a family member who didn't take the necessary precautions with an infected or dead family member. Simply working in those conditions puts everyone at a higher level of risk due to the poor handling of Ebola victims by family members. The CDC routinely works with highly lethal pathogens everyday and we know how to isolate victims to stop the virus from spreading. Sadly, this is not the case in Africa." - Jim McCusker
