Google, Mozilla, Opera, Microsoft, Blackberry, and more have all shipped WebGL before Apple. Think about it, Internet Explorer which is famous for being a horrible browser shipped much of what you're praising Apple for nearly a full year before Apple. Not to mention Apple has often been vocal against many of the bigger more game changing web standards coming out or completely silent.
