I tried to go to sleep early-ish last night but then was a a rather long burst of fireworks at 12:30 AM. It seems that today Easter and "Greekster" coincide. Spoke to My Kid just now; it was the Greek Orthodox church in her neighborhood, a mile away, celebrating at a midnight service.

Happy to lose the "I'm __ Old" contest! Today at the pharmacy I gave my name and DOB 9/1/45. Got my Rx and the pharmacist asked me who it was for. I said "me" and he was shocked. He had a special offer for folks over 65 and he wanted me to give it to my "older relative."
