Gearing up for the biggest GT ever. Reddit is having a global meet up day this Saturday and the Seattle meeting will be pushing 500 people. My, bulletin board get together have come a long way.
I had proper crumpets for the first time this morning. They're not like English Muffin's at all. In fact, I'd say they're more like pancakes then anything. Dense, spongy and strange pancakes.
And delicious as hell. :D

There's obviously such thing as being overqualified for a position but not overqualified for a company as a whole. I don't think regional Google offices have the same freedom of hiring as the main campus does but I could be wrong.

Also getting my first taste of Eastside to Northend rush hour commute. This part is quite sucky.
2nd Google contract interview a success. Im going to get scheduled for a third/final interview within a few weeks. Feeling good!

So, phone screen for a contract job at Google went well. It's not the sexiest of jobs and the commute isn't ideal, but its a job working on tools I'm passionate about and would be a cool experience to have.
The commute wouldn't be so bad. Train to Seattle and then bus to SLU?
