HELLO OBAMA. The presidential motorcade just went by my house on I-5 on his way to the University of Washington and it sounded like we were under attack. Multiple helicopters circling in very tight circles over and over and over. So Loud!
Taxpayer dollars at work. I guess he's stumping for some candidates up there.

Yeah, Senator Patty Murray. They actually just had a thing on the news about who pays for the presidential visits and that since this is a Democrat stump visit it's payed for 100% by DNC. If it were an official visit then it'd come out of the White House travel office budget. Interesting.

I just applied for the perfect job at Amazon.com that matches my skill set exactly. It's almost scary. Yet, I'm completely convinced I won't get a call back or a message from a recruiter. I guess you could say I'm a bit demoralized by the job market at the moment.
woah, well thank you social networking! An Amazonian has heard my plea and we're going to meet for coffee to discuss the job (he works in an adjacent group, apparently) and then send my resume in as an internal referral. That's helpful, and fast! :D
