Hey FF, what should I do in Boston this weekend?
Dress warmly! www.faneuilhallmarketplace.com, Newbury St., and Beacon Hill have nice vibes for walking/shopping. Eat some lobster. The duck tours are fun and give you some of Boston's history. High Rise Bakery (awesome sandwiches!) and L.A. Burdick in Harvard Square, which is a popular area and tourist-friendly. - Dan Hsiao

Dear Gmail, I dig the new look, but I hit that stinkin "back to inbox" left arrow button every time I try to reply to a message. I realize you want it to look like a back button... but it looks like a reply arrow. Also, there is already a giant red INBOX button *right* next to it on my screen! >.>
Ready.gov: Get A Kit - http://www.ready.gov/america...
Really, ready.gov? You expect people to include an extra cell phone and a solar charger in their emergency kit? ...and that isn't even in the "Additional Items To Consider" section. >.> - Ross Miller

The mathematics generation gap - http://worthwhile.typepad.com/worthwh...
This is an interesting topic to me and there is an ongoing debate in my head as to what the actual power of carrying the worlds information (Google) in your pocket is. It seems to me that web search skills & technique are becoming an amplifier to intelligence. Although over reliance on unverified information on the web has catastrophic consequences, finding the right balance of internal or base knowledge combined with the ability to quickly take in and learn concepts through search will be the road to success for the next generation. (The article is about calculators and mathematics specifically, but I feel this concept applies in a much broader sense with web search) - Ross Miller

"So, if it’s your job to be creative for long periods of time, better to be sad than angry. But if all you need are short bursts of sporadic creativity, rage away." -- Hold on for a sec while I get angry so I can drop creativity nukes all afternoon :D - Ross Miller

"But overall, the experience contributes to the feeling of quality you get before you even touch the product. Granted, some people think this is overkill. Or, even worse, it’s one more reason to hate Apple. This is how the Great Satan hoodwinks people into buying their overpriced technology. Fortunately, Apple doesn’t give a hoot about people who don’t recognize or care about quality. That’s not their audience." - Ross Miller
